Where have peopl- bought their rns=e from?

i need to fit an a6 one to an rs4 that already has the satnav - i beleieve all i need is the unit, cd, wiring adapter, aerial adapter(not sure if htis is anohter gps aerial or an adapter to fit hte curretnt one?)

does the b5 rs4 have the correct tv tuner to plug into the rns-e?

is the blutooth option an extra on these?

i have seen a carbon cover for them to make htem look like htey fit - and it looks spot on - who does this? it needs to match piano black or the black plastic.

I need some monitors in the headrests - where can i get these done for the rs4 recaros?

Bought my unit from Ebay.

Yes you will need the unit, aerial adapter, GPS antenna, and a wiring adpater. And obviously the Nav CD whether last year or latest version is up to you.

Not sure if your original GPS aerial will work, but if its the same connector, blue colour 1 point IIRC, then it should work/fit.

Not sure on the TV tuner part.

BT is extra. Need the BT module, Mic, BT aerial, and you need to either devise, or source the wiring loom.

I have got the carbon cover done. PM me if you need further info on this. Can be done in Piano aswell.

Can put you in touch with someone who can do the rear monitors in the Recaro's. They've done them before.

Yes you will need an A6 version of the RNS-E, and you will also need a wiring harness adaptor, with either a can-bus emulator or a can-gate adaptor, and the B5 instrument adaptor does not provide the correct time to the instrument cluster. If you use a can-bus emulator then the time is picked up via GPS, but the down side is you don't get the radio station/CD/telephone in the top of the cluster. You will also need an aerial adaptor.

Telephone is another option, and you will need a wiring harness, Bluetooth module, Bluetooth antenna and the Audi microphone.

If you already have a TV tuner installed in your car, it won't work with the RNS-E. You will need to replace the module with a current 4D0 919 146 C or 4D0 919 146 D, there are second hand modules around, but you will still be look at about £500. There is also a new digital module available but your looking at over £1100.

The wiring harness from the old TV tuner can be used but it will need to be rewired on both ends, with new plugs.

The carbon fibre plate was £300 and was made by a company in London, PM me if you what there details.

The original GPS antenna will work fine.

Just to update to my post, I just checked the price of the face plate is was £350, you will also have to send down your old face plate as the carbon fibre is bonded to the old face plate, and the quality of the work was fanatic. As before PM me if you want their details.
