I agree dippy.
I don't smoke, so the one in the ashtray looks good too, but would look better in black rather than silver imo.

What I'm really after is a boost gauge though rather than a timer. I guess I'll keep looking

So for the AWE centre vent gauge we have interest from:

TurkS4
B5DOM
Mik
DavidT

Carps & Jeff W do you want one ?

I have contacted www.nsracing.com who are AWE's UK distributor. They will come back to me with pricing and a lead time.

AmD will fit, I will try and get an idea on price.

Would be nice to get a few more, any more B5 A4/S4 or RS4 owners interested ?

I'd like a boost gauge, but prefer the integration of the OCT unit. To me it looks factory. I also like the way it just taps into the ECU so there are no extra wires or vacuum pipes going through the bulkhead to the engine.
I will leave the centre vent one, thanks.

i like the oct one and it also fits the S3. but is expensive and looses the s3 logo's on our rev counters.

latest one i have seen that i like, that suits our red lighting and is tiny is this.

not cheap.

Sorry about the delay, nsracing are waiting for a delivery date (AWE are out of stock).

As soon as I have details I will post them, including installation costs at AmD or nsracing.

I've not forgotten about this gentlemen.

Should be able to post details on pricing and installation in the next week or so.

Couple of things guys,
Like Toasty I'm also building my own LED display one (not quite finished yet!, but sourced the parts from an electronics wholesaler in the US, quite a bit cheaper.

Read somewhere that the OCT setup doesn't go to a high enough reading for chipped cars?, dunno if this is true, but worth bearing in mind.

Another guage you might want to look at is the EFU unit from Germany, now available in the UK. Fully integrated into the dash computer display, the connection goes in line with the radio remote display plug so no cutting. it also has an air flow measurement as an option.

I must admit I like this one better than both OCT and AWE models. It seems to be the optimal way to implement a boost gauge by using the existing DIS. However, not sure what the differences are in actually fitting this kit compared to the others?

AmD have kindly stepped in to assist with this.

AWE Centre Vent Gauge is £ 160 + VAT + fitting (tba, once Scott has installed the first one in his car).

We can get 10% off the gauge with 10 or more orders.

Please re-post/add your interest below.

Hi davidT,

I am interested, however, £160.00 is a bit steep considering they are $139 from APR.

http://www.goapr.com/Audi/products/boost_gauge.html

Would it not make sense to do a group buy from APR and then get AMD to fit it?

Your thoughts.

Cheers...jem
