I saw documentary once where Doug McLure actually proved this to be true so don't laugh.

well everyone thought that the earth was flat..so why not hollow...there's life jim but not as we know it...

so why not hollow
We wouldn't have much of a magnetosphere (in fact none at all).... that's why not! You need one for things like not getting fried by solar/cosmic radiation and other stuff like having an atmosphere ... little things like that :biggrin2:

Top money-maker that one .... loadsa folk cashing in on the latest great rock 'n' roll swindle ... :biggrin2:

Mars is a good example of what happens to a planet when it loses its magnetosphere ... its atmosphere gets 'cooked-off' by solar and cosmic radiation. (lost the magnetosphere because its molten iron core set solid and stopped spinning ....... bingo: super weak magnetic field = dessicated planet)
