Following this with a lot of interest. Try and project numbers now, I believe it’s possible to get around 500+ people (inc spectators etc) to a well organized event like RS246 Live. Get the ground/track booked asap the earlier the people have a date the better...somewhere like Elvington would be good, plenty of room. Not sure what kind of experience you guys have organising things but are you going to run a track day yourself or bring a third party to do it?? If you really want to push the boat out get trader stands there selling and promoting their wares etc… Invite local dealerships well in advance, Audi UK etc even contact people like Abt etc… It could become a monster of an event if you want it too.
I’ve organized a few shows with CCC (at Autosport), Kit Car and IBM (AS400 Live!) and have a ton of contacts from working on TAudi.…id like to help if I can so please ask.

Kinda expensive to get the beast over. Ha Ha Ha@!!!
It would be a great experience, would AUDI UK allow for any drives of the R8, RS6 ???

You heard much about the R4 and collaboration with Porsche ?
Cheers

If you really want to push the boat out get trader stands there selling and promoting their wares etc…
This sounds like a good idea. Always nice to purchase the odd new bit ...

Can we tempt any more of you along to support this event ? the numbers so far are good, but not good enough.

This will be the ideal opportunity to have a go at a top speed run, acceleration tests & a form of handling / trackday activity in a safe (often solo) environment with people who are known to the forum.

Please support it if you can :)
