looks like the R8 needs a proper engine.... or a proper driver! I wonder if the Supapoo driver though he was 'beating an R8'?

Nice going though! You should have swapped cars and seen how they went then!

Was the R8 'two up' as well?

have to say i have watched this now several times and its just mint.....

the first R8 must have been a bit brassed off to say the least. and as far as film coriogragraphy goes .. the next victim came through the turn stiles at exactly the right time( poor No2 owner)
he really did seem to slow doug up at different times around the ring
but on a serious side....
this really does show that- with a few grand and some serious know how- the dear old B5 that we so cherish can hack off 80k's worth of german (lets be fair -quality) engineering
well driven (no more suckin) and lucky bast**d to get the chance.
S4 B5 long gone

What's the spec on that S4 then. The MRC website lists the MRC400 but this car seems to be a bit further tuned that the MRC400 spec?

What's the cost to get an S4 up to R8 beating spec!

that spec was the 400 with FMIC, so upto around 440 at that time.

Interesting indeed. I've been checking out the MRC400 on the website, but I can't find any prices for having this upgrade package carried out?

What sort of price would it be to get the MRC400 carried out. Would this be any less reliable than a normally modded (exhaust / precats etc) S4 with remap?

It all depends on what you go for, for example, some people go for rs4 intercoolers some front mounts (more expensive but better gains), its alos depends on what state of tune your car is currently at!

My S4 would be pretty much stock I'd imagine with the exception of possibly a remap etc. Would be going for the FMIC
