I'll try to remember my webcam, not sure about getting it hosted though. Anyone?

If Thorney have an 'open' internet connection, I could WIFI my laptop (with webcam) to their router, and then use my SKYPE account to video host the session!!.

Anyone from Thorney/DavidT able to check this out ??

If we show Doug this setup tomorrow, we could 'encourage' him to have live video streaming to MRC !!!

Sorry for the short notice Mark,

it wasn't something I had thought of before, just poped into my head an hour ago! It would be great if you could get one up and running for all of us that can't be there or are too far away.

Cheers, Nigel.

Yeah - then you can actually watch him ignoring your phone-calls in real-time live on the web!

Do you guys watch "The Garage" on Discovery? Jock cracks me up. I am the boss of this garage.

Getting slightly back on track, I don't think there will be much to see via webcam tbh.

I think you might be right. The runs will be video'd so can be posted up on the likes of YouTube

My aim is to give each runner their own DVD of the run (plus some other goodies/higlights from the day).

I can also post onto 'youtube' (with the car owners consent of course) if required....

No.
How does the dyno kit measure boost and lambda values Graham?

lamda is I *think* down to probes by the intake and at the exhust (maybe the intake one is for something else).

Boost is done by a hose joined into the vacuum lines by means of a t-piece or similar somewhere near your DVs. Like a boost guage I expect. I'll be bringing a small supply of small zip/cable ties in case Thorney dont have any for like for like re-attaching of my hoses.

If you want boost measured and have your vacuum hoses attached by any other single use method, probably best to bring a few spares.
