I understand the context but I fail to see the relevance. If Julian wishes to post on this forum fine, if he doesn't that is also fine....getting a petition going to bring him back is sycophantic. He fell out with the moderators, nothing more, nothing less.

OK, then let me explain :

Although I've had little time to spend on the forum in the last 2 weeks, the absence of Julian's helpful input, good humour, and well-intended jibes have been sorely missed.
Meaning : Julian's absence from the forum is sadly missed for the reasons stated (others have added similar reasons in their own posts). My introduction is admittedly largely irrelevant, although perhaps if I'd had more time to spend on the forum I would have missed him even more...?

His reasons for 'leaving' the forum were made clear in his "Bye all" thread.
I hope this is self-explanatory, but please advise if you need any clarification.

I feel that his point has now been well made and his continued 'boycotting' of the forum will serve no further useful purpose.

So please join with me in welcoming Jules back.
There's no loss of face, mate - so come and show your evil face
Meaning : those who 'sign' the petition would like to welcome him back to the forum.

Please vote and/or sign the petition below, by copying and pasting.

Now this seems to be the tricky bit - it means that those who add their name (or cast a positive vote) would like to see S4TAN return to the forum.

I put my name down first as I initiated it. Others have added theirs, some haven't bothered.

I wholeheartedly agree that if he doesn't want to return, then he won't but if there is sufficient support from the 'general public', then that might just outweigh the abuse he's received from certain Crew members

Finally, it is indeed flattering for him to see the level of support so far.

I'm sure you have his number or email address.....If you want your buddy to post on here again that's fine, email him or phone him. The petition comes across as being against the organisers and moderators of this forum. rs246.com was going along nicely before Julian and will do so after Julian (and me for that matter). If he never posts on here again will make little difference to him or rs246.com.

As for spelling it out.....twice....it kinda makes my point.

Just for the record, S4TAN has not been banned in any shape or form from the site. He is welcome to return at his leisure.
