BBS wheel silver paint code?

Post by MarkB » Fri Oct 26, 2007 12:41 pm

Anyone know a paint code that matches the bright silver BBS CH's come in?

It looks a bit brighter than the silver on my B5 S4.

Thanks
Mark

How does it get sold Phil? Is it supplied per litre ?
Does it require a black base coat?

How much does it cost??

All good questions...

I'm only looking for a small amount for touch up as my wife scratched one of the new ones fitted to her car. Only on there for a couple of weeks!! :bash:

Not sure the technical bits, as the label is in German.
The tins I have are 0.5kgs and the cost is £49 +vat per tin.

 I'll be going for a best match I can manage as the scratch is less than a centimeter long.

Thanks anyway.

Just been on a site with paint codes and the LY7P (TITAN) looks about right compared to my LY7W (LICHT SILVER) as on my car. I'll be giving that a go...

Phil, how much in litres would you estimate is in the 0.5kgs tins???
Could you also enquire with BBS as to whether you have to use the black base-coat and also is there a clear-coat that is applied on top of the silver?

Cheers!
