RS246 Flyer design ...
RS246 Flyer design ...
Okay boys (and girls), I've started assembling a flyer for the site per Bushy's request. I have four variations of a design to choose from, three using R8 cars in the background and one with the RSR concept. I'll post one per follow up below.
I need to know which you like (if any) and any changes you might recommend. I'll speak offline with admin about what info they want on the flyer.
These are currently designed for print at std letter size(21.6cm x 28cm - 8.5"x11" here in the US).

Re: RS246 Flyer design ...
Hey RobO..
All Nice.
Personally I like #1
Just a thought though. Does anyone else think that Standard letter size (A4) is a tad too big. I'm thinking along the lines of.... If you were to spot a car that you would like to bring this site to the owners attention, would an A5 (14.8 x 21cm (half of A4 in landscape)) size flyer not be as obtrusive as an A4 size flyer under the wiper? Also at meets, trackdays etc. I'm sure A5 size would be eiaser to distribute.. Just my 2p's worth...

So far it's looking like #1 will be a clean sweep.
Mick ... excellent points. I don't think it necessary to have them A4 either, but it's easier to scale down a design if smaller is preferred than to try and make a small design bigger. Whatever gets the vote works for me. Not only would an A5 size format be tidier, easier to distribute, etc. ... it would require much less ink and therefore be more printer friendly. Sounds like a win-win. Re: RS246 Flyer design ...
Superb !
Fully agree with everyone above and a few points :
1. Go for #1 : the RSR is a dream car, lot more than the R8.
2. A5 size indeed : people need to fold/keep it easily as they only convert into users a later day (let's assume they won't remember the name or url simply by reading the flyer once before thrashing it).
3. What about going landscape (vs vertical) ?
Might enable a larger use of the 3 cars pix.
4. Small typo on "Celbrating..."
5. The full url (www.rs246.com) could be written somewhere, like bottom right of page.
6. Maybe listing 4-5 key features/services of rs246.com in bullet points, beneath the 3 cars pix (owners forums, videos, tuning advice, track days, etc.)
7. How about giving the reader an incentive to keep the flyer and then go to the site later ?
Like "Find the pictures of today's trackday on RS246.com" ?
Of course, it requires shooting and posting but I guess you get the idea.

I was going to say 2, and the point about an A4 flapping in the wind is a good point... well thats my penny's worth
