Post by rsvirgin » Fri Sep 28, 2007 10:21 am

Hi Guys

I have just chopped in my RS2 for a new S3 (in WHITE!!!!!) don't laugh it looks the nuts!!

Only trouble is I want more power!!!

Has anyone got any experience of re-mapping a new S3? any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks guys.

You may well want to try MRC Tuning as they're probably the best around at the moment. You'll be looking around the 300-310bhp mark.

I've very recently sold a white S3 but I used a Superchips Bluefin device as I wanted to turn the map on/off for servicing etc.

We really need to update our website but basically 305 310 BHP and around 420Nm of torque is what one of our maps will do on a new S3. OBD2 programmed of course.

Email us for more details. White S3's look gorgeous, I have been considering getting one recently...

Just had a GIAC re-map done. The car is now awesome, 310bhp and 310ft/lb!!! Went to the Nurburgring this weekend managed 163mph at 6000 rpm so still more to go!! My brother went in my old RS2 and I pissed him in EVERY gear!!

Go to Regal Autosport in Southampton and get one done £450 + vat!!! They are gerat!!

nice 1 mate, did they do it on rolling road? what boost you running? i got a revo map done recently but wasnt done on rolling road, so not sure of the power, im told it should be 310/310 also.

no they didn't do a rolling road but it pissed my old chipped RS2 with 320bhp so it must be about right though! Thinking of getting a Miltek, do you know if they are any good?

well i rang mike at revo yesterday just to let him know how my map went, and they are developing a stage 2 revo map that includes a high pressure fuel pump, different air intake and a stainless turbo back exhaust, supposed to be up around 350 mark then :o from what ive heard about the miltek so far has been only good stuff mate, i would be after one myself but cant persuade myself to go down the 'loud' path again -yet!

sounds tasty, Audi would have a fit though! Are the Milteks really load then or are they ok?

yeah they probably would have a few questions but i expect it would be ok to fit one, i listened to one at castlecoombe a few weeks ago and they are not that much louder ticking over but i dont know about driving hard and don't know if its too loud inside the car, its just after i had a loud car before i dont want constant noise inside the car anymore. but i think the exhaust gives 15-20bhp+ so its atough choice.

350 on the stock turbo is definitely pushing it

thats what i thought nearly 100bhp over standard you don't get that too often from standard turbo's. we will wait and see.
