Will i get mine for Le Mans this year ?

I ordered mine in November 2005.

Did anyone order theirs before that date? Just interested.

I am hoping to get it before Le Mans.

Are there any Audi representatives on the forum that can help me find out?

And can we park them in the Audi Sponsors area?

My R8 black book says 375/500, but I presume that is just the limited edition catalogue number, not my position in the queue.

If you are interested I have ordered the following spec.

Metallic Silver with Apollo Silver side blades
Manual Transmission
Black Leather
Audi Magnetic Ride
Acoustic Parking
LED Light Pack
Satellite Navigation

It will be in Bigpockets.co.uk livery and we will be taking it to different venues and use it for advertising purposes. (Honest)

My friend ordered his in May 2004, whilst we were in Morroco on Gumball3000 (we did it that year in RS6, pictures here on website somewhere). Anyway at the time he was told he was 2nd on the list. Delivery expected in early July.

Guess i was dreaming

4 weeks to go now.

Funny to think it was called th "Le mans" and then the R9 when i ordered it and after the R8 track day, i have been thinking of nothing else.

My RS4 Avant will be for sale soon if any one is looking.

Mine is coming April / May / June according to the last letter.

I'm actually suffering now from R8 fatigue, the wait has been so long. Bloody footballers, celebrity chefs and the obnoxious oxygen of publicity they provide. KILL THEM ALL. KILL THEM NOW

Hey Tim, you're the Tim that went down to the Le mans track day about 4 years ago with the CSL?

Im the Jon with the Heather that danced on the tables!!!

R8 arrives Monday (10th March), would be good if you are going to Le Mans - we all are - check out www.lemansclub.com
