I'd guess it will appeal as an alternative to the M3, however it will no doubt be quicker, but i doubt it would handle as well as the M3 (AMG's just dont).

Against the RS4, it should be quicker in a straight line, as this is AMG's forte, but i get it's skitty in the wet & i imagine it will weigh a good 200KG more so a fair match.

They used one of these Merc's as the pace car for F1, its sounds awesome in the flesh......looks the biz as well!!

As for choice its up to personal preference or brand loyalty i would guess
