Sounds good, is that in the standard RS6 Sat Nav or do you have the RNS-E upgrade?

Disc arrived quickly; map much greater detail but no joy with the TMC mode. Any idea what I need to do to enable it? Tried as many settings as I can but no joy. Definately says TMC on the new disc.

Howdy chaps,

I bought an OEM upgrade disc, think it was 2005 or 6 for my RNS-D and it worked fine for a month or so and then it started coming up with an error stating incompatible disc? It only seemed to do this when the unit was warm. I also noticed that the fan stayed on for a long time when I switched off the ignition???

I was then cought out and didnt have the old disc so from then on I kept the old disc in the car and after a further couple of weeks of it intermittently showing errors with the disc, I changed back to the original and have had no probs since (about 4 months ago now). Really strange - but would be interested to see if anyone has a similar problem and would also advise you to keep the original disc in the car (well for a month or so at least).

Cheers,
Lig.

Marmite, did you do anything to get the TMC running or did it just do it on its own? Is there a rest code I could try?
