Hi all,
Just seen my first R8 on the road..well, parked next to a pavement really.

I hadn't seen one in the flesh previously. It looked stunning in black with the CF side panels. I thought it would be tiny but it has real road presence and it seems wider than a gallardo somehow.

Has anyone else seen any about? What do you all think of them?

Looked like this:

no2.... looks ten times better in the flesh and that's no exaggeration. very low and wide. overall looks tiny, not very much bigger than a TT.

I saw that one in T1 as well :-) (2 day boring meeting in Brussels)

(some guy there in an RS4 polo shirt obviously just travelling, think he might have been german)

It is a very nice looking beast.

Audi did do a great job with the design.

Love to have a drive to see what it is like compared to the RS4
Cheers

Well smart. The devil in me was dying to put a set of big greasy paw prints on the bonnet but the boy was keeping a close eye on everyone round it!! total ridiculous shine they get on their show cars. Must take ages to do.
:bigwave:
Did you buy a ticket mip? and by the way, don't whinge about being in Brussels for two days, I guarantee it's better than being on nightshift in sakhalin sland for 28 days straight!!

I've seen loads on the road now, probably because i live near a PDI centre and they are going out like hotcakes at the mo!. Totally agree with the better in the flesh comments.

now seen my first.....albeit in a show room at stafford audi.

have to agree totally.

not really been that bothered by all the pics but ...all of a sudden.... WOW  so much better in the flesh

not really a supercar fan (rather have mihnea's 500S4) but very impressed

rear end lookes fat and purposeful and side panels take away TT look.
