Depends what sort of car you're after, really. Are you looking to get the dog to where you walk it *really really fasT* or are you after blending in either every single other bloody S3 out there?

S3
3 door hatch.
Only one turbo to play with or go wrong
210 or 25bhp in stock trim

S4 Avant
5 door estate.
Twice as many turbos to play with (or go wrong)
265bhp in stock trim

2 totally different animals.
RS4 in the only colour to have - Misano Red | MRC Remap | RS6+ brakes | H&R and Custom Performance Parts suspension |
Huge Grin :biggrin3: If you dont "do it now" you never will.

I went through this... and the S4 is heavier on fuel, but has way more potential.

Ideally what you want is a facelift S4 with K04's already fitted. There you have a 400+HP sleeper. The S3 takes big money if you want more than 260ish.
Facelift Imola S4 | Cust K04's, Tubular Manifolds, 3" DPs->2.75" Catback | FMIC | PSS9 Coilovers + ARB's | Brembo 8-Pots | SS + DTS | 5??HP/475lbs/ft | 3.06S FATS on S4 Box

Sold: A4 (B5) 2.8 Quattro | Ivory Pearl
Melted: Corrado - IHI 1.8t: 343BHP

Unless your after a hatch back its got to be an S4 really. S3's are pretty tasty though.
Yellow Mini One, AmD tuned to 130bhp, K&N induction kit, Milltek cat-bac exhaust, go-faster bonnet stripes (at least another 10bhp!)
