Take as many of the upgrade parts off as you can Darren and sell them on here. They will fetch good money. Standard suspension, brakes, exhaust etc. are available from most tuners as they tend to go in the bin anyway.

I think £7k is a bit low, unless the market has taken a hammering in the last few months. For reference, I sold my good condition, but not mint, black 1999.5 S4 Avant, standard apart from H&R ARBs, RS4 springs and shocks and Tanoga SS kit for £7750 back in June. It had a fairly low spec, the only options really being sunroof, cruise and the Recaro interior I fitted. It had 104k miles. That said, I think I got a good price. (Best of all it sold to the first person to see it, 3 days after advertising it!)
