Hindsight (like experience) is always somehting you get after you need it.

The previous owner told me he would have her a year only, it was a stop gap until he saved enough to buy something new. In this case he is going for a Noble - I still speak to him from time to time.

There's a new Noble due out Any Time Now. Has been for 8 months. The head of the Noble Owners Club is currently contemplating an R8.

As a stopgap for the prices falling there, he's bough ta new 3.6 litre NA engine to stick in his Noble, while his new American-made Noble M12 is being mae, and then shipped over. It's undera different name, but it's the M12...

dont know what boost it is running.? i think it has a tank of normal fuel in as i was out drivin yesterday. and it didin't feel as quick as it didi on the test drive. had a quick look under the bonnet. gulp 2. found the fpr hose split. cut it back and reconnected. just need to run the fuel down and fill it with optimax. rob is there any thing i could/should know about it. understand it was looked after by mrc tuning. mint.

Hi ya. Glad you enjoying her. I was tempted to buy her back and tune further but can't afford it just now. It was the first car to have the RS4/6 conversion (and to run RS6 brakes). I don't believe there should be anything awry but I haven't seen her in a year. I changed the oil/plugs and filters every 3.5/4k miles and all the work listed in the add was done about 3 months before mark bought her from me. It was all done properly; brakes, suspension, exhaust, cooling, afterrun pump mod, propshaft, all wishbones etc etc.

Have fun....

From memory, she was running about 1.6 bar at peak and 1.2/1.3 at redline. It was around 500bhp. Get her running right, get VAG-com and log the max airflow in 2nd and 3rd gears then multiply by 1.25 = approximate power output on that engine.

well i got my hands on her today and WOW what a nice car..i replaced the DV's for a pair of new 710N's and all the respective hoses that were shot..i also done a N249 delete..
gave her a pressure test and found nothing wrong..then went for a test drive...after about 5 mins i started to feel sick..the kick in my back was amazing...
it deffo needs a boost gauge and a Bi-pipe to eliminate the infamous TBB..ians also toying with the idea of finishing it off with an RS4 Y pipe as he has everything else fitted..RS4 maf, airbox turbo pipes etc.etc..

Does this really make a decent enough difference.

Ive been thining about doing this for a while now. Im not as brave as you to do the bonnet mod, but this is something that id like to try as I never use the fogs anyhow.

Ive been meaning to actually cut my grills up and put some RS style mesh in to further improve the flow. If it makes a difference then Ill do it.
