Gap Insurance

Post by 4wheeldrift » Wed Sep 12, 2007 7:27 pm

The Audi dealer I have ordered my car from has quoted 790 for a 3 year Gap Insurance Policy. Sounds expensive to me! Can anyone recommend a good alternative provider?

Thanks, David

£324 for three year back to invoice policy or maximum £15K whichever comes first. Through private company

£790 is too much

J, Who did you get you Gap Insurance From?

I have heard there is a company who offer a monthly scheme so if you sell the car after two years, you stop paying.

There is a company in the back of EVO every month doing the same offer

Surf and protect beat all my other quotes. I think it was £270 in the end for 4 years on their invoice gap cover (£25k payout max).

They were able to match and beat my best quote simply by filling in an online form with the details of the best quote I'd had so far...didn't even have to speak to anyone! Never had that when arranging GAP cover before.
