Exhaust tips - black sooty stains

My exhaust tips (lower part) is rather black and sooty. I clean it everytime but it turns black again after 700km . My car is 100% bone stock, and I use Shell V-power 98octane.

Is this normal? Are you folks experiencing the same problem as I am?

Yep ,seems normal to me. I usually clean my car weekly and do about 600 miles a month. Use BP Ultimate
A good soapy wash and the occasional Autoglym chrome cleaner seems to do the trick

I get some soot, not much, clean with autosol and just wipe with a rag after that.
