Post by TWB » Sat Sep 08, 2007 10:58 pm

thought might be of interest to anyone still thinking of buying a new car. bought new rs4 saloon today from local audi dealer. they had 3 in their group stock all mugello blue but have managed to swap 1 with another dealer for black which i wanted. took it with a pinch of salt as we were negoatiating but said since i started discussing about 3 weeks ago the number of black cars cars still available in the uk had had reduced from 12 to 4.

This seems to reflect what a BMW salesman told me on Thurs night when driving the new M3
Prices are firming up due to lack of availabilit and good write ups in the motoring press.
Seems like people a rushing to get the last ones having realised the M3 no longer has the field all to itself.
C63 AMG should be an interesting addition to the game though
