Dealer still has my car (fair play though it was a bl00dy long list of things to look at!)

....so I'll be there later in the loan car (A3 1.6)

It might be quicker to

Nice to see some of you earlier. Apologies to those of you I've met before whose names I couldn't remember. Blame it on my age.

Appreciate the spins in your cars Paul and Jeff.

The only downside I can think Jeff is the price otherwise very impressive.

And Paul if that is your car feeling flat....And the red stuff pads work too

Sorry to dash off before the pub (and no it wasn't Biturbo's driving). Have some studying to do....which is what I should be doing now.

Cheers to all those who attended last night. Image
Excellent turnout with a good display of cars with both Audi's and Porsche's. Hope to see you all again next month. Image

I think Bushy is doing wheel cleaning lessons next month for those who are interested Image

More pics are in the gallery here.

Nice pics Daz.

It was good to meet a few more people and see yet more cars.
JohnH, Ken and I had a a bit of a laugh on the way there in convoy. Apparently one guy nearly fell over when he saw 3 RS4s together (I was at the front so only saw his initial reaction )

I was gutted that Bushy wouldn't clean my wheels or windows for me (especially after the armourfend guys had to get all the flies off the front of it before fitting the film ! )

Managed to steer clear of looking at all of Bushy's electronic wizardry, but still went home with more macguires wares from his market stall.

btw bushy, I gave the wife a rub when I got hime with the 'mit of myrth' as someone else called it.
Her first comment was 'no I'm not cleaning the car' , and her second comment was 'ooohh, thats nice and soft, come over here with it a minute ...'

So. Err.....
I might be wanting a couple more

Cheers all, can't wait for next time.

A good night was had by all

...strangely no one asked me to take them for a spin in the A3 1.6

Great to see everybody again and am sure Bushy's car was a lot lighter going home as my wallet certainly was. Sorry about your accident Ken but hopefully it will be back to normal for the next meet. Replaced the flies yet JohnW???

Toasty,
did you notice the rear drivers wing was strangely more shiney and smooth than the rest of the car ?

John, I don't think so. I think I might have to find some time this weekend to clean the rest of the car now though.
Do I get the prize for the dirtiest car there

I saw you head off at Ascot, but the satnav 'had control'
and I just followed it until I picked up the dual carriageway to Bagshot.
I got a bit carried away on the Lightwater bypass too when a rather tasty young laydee in an A3 thought she could beat me off the lights at the M3 J3.
I let her get about a cars length ahead then floored it

Silly really as she didn't stand a chance, but she just had to be taught!

Ken, I hope RS4Johnmanages to get you a good price for putting your car right. You must be gutted as I know I would be.

So who was it that got chased up the road by the bill - Bushy ???

Cheers,
John (don't know why but I keep thinking about that mit... )

Well, it was just moments after Bushy left the car park - but PC Plod was going in the wrong direction!

Ah, thats good then.

I wasn't there which is why I asked - I had taken my mate for a quick spin up to the other end of the park and back. Had to back off at 130 though as the bends were getting a little tight
Maybe they were coming to look for me !

John,

Turned off by Ascot Racecourse as had to drop something off at Sunningdale. Must admit like that bit of dual carriageway myself and am just waiting for them to set up a radar trap along there but never seen one yet!!

Some serious nervous giggles I think
Can't beat a bit of boost!
