I'm all for encouraging more car mad girlies to contribute here and elsewhere re their cars. [img]images/graemlins/cool.gif[/img] There are certainly some Audi owning girls on the other lists - TTs and S3s for eg.

Him indoors seems to have got the car bug big time and is considering adding a third car to our mini-fleet. (Think it's got something to do with the power of the RS2 compared to his hot hatch [img]images/graemlins/smirk.gif[/img]). We've been trawling around looking at options within our budget and some of the other car-related websites/discussion lists seem to attract more input from the girls than others. There are female Lotus and TVR owners on Pistonheads, SELOC etc. Perhaps Thorney can enlighten us as to whether the VXT etc attract female owners.

I'll leave you lot to try and work out what makes other sites/types of car more attractive [img]images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]

Mrs Mog here - depends what you call decent (apart from an RS Audi of course!!!) - my friend Vicki and I cut our teeth on RS2000s and were the only girls at RS Owners Club, it took the guys months to speak to us... but I eventually married one of them!!! Mr Mog and I have also owned an RS1600i, Fiesta RS Turbo, Westfield, Subaru Impreza P1 and 2 RS4's. I enjoyed all of the above - especially the P1, but my ultimate car (so far) is the RS4. One of the dad's at our school had an RS6 the other day and I went rushing up to ask what he thought of it. He looked at me like I was totally mad - with me asking all sorts of technical questions (for a girl) - until I told him that I had an RS4. Now he treats me quite like a sane person and has even offered me a drive sometime! I think some guys don't understand that girls like decent cars and actually know what they are driving.... MrsT drives a Golf 1.6 at the moment. Seeing as she has just completed her first year on the road, it's her 'dodgem car'. It looks cool, silver, VR6 bumper, alloys, etc... It even got broken into once, so it must be pretty good!!

Seen quite a few lady drivers in nice cars, but very limited numbers in the S and RS clan, hope to see more in the future [img]images/graemlins/thumbs.gif[/img].

Well I have been away from the forum for a while.I know that I have driven some stunning cars over the years and I own a reasonable nice car, not my dream car but the list of dream cars seems to get longer each day! I can honestly say and have been told I am a "Petrol Head". I love cars and love learning all about them and have been known to know a few things from time to time!
