price of cambelt change?

Anyone know how much it would cost to have the cambelt changed on a 99 s3?

Hi,

APS (www.autops.co.uk) will do it for £315+VAT for changing the Cambelt, roller and tensioner, auxiliary belt and water pump.

How often should the cam belt be replaced?

i have been advised that the cam belt should be done every 60k miles although audi say 80k. My mate just had his done at QST for 348+VAT which includes all the extras stated above

Got mine done for 165 but i work in the parts trade and got everything next to nothing..
