Yep, and those turbos don't even break out in sweat to deliver these boost levels.

What is the spec now please ?

And what boost to you plan to run ?

Oh and what power are you expecting please ?
I'm running a CR of 7.7:1 . Aiming for silly power 750-800hp. Boost around 2.6 Bar holding and 2.8 peak. Something around these figures.

We'll see when it gets mapped. Got to fix my brakes first because my discs are blue, cracked and they simply had it. I'm running the new B7 brakes !! Will upgrade to 380x34mm AP Racing discs.

better safe than sorry. ;o)

Quick :bigwave: to all, just joined up, been lurker for a while, maybe moving over soon :)

I can vouch for the K16's, my 996TT has them, even though they're the starting point on porca's, they're strong as *uck, mine came with a standard 420bhp/lbs's running .7bar, quick map/zorst/dv's and you get nearly 500+ @ .9bar !! then if you have plenty of £££ you can go hybrid or K24's :)

But with 'only' 2.7lt's you'll be fighting the lag a bit...

Top move though, will be keeping an eye out on progress :)

Dave's car is lightening quick. Been it it twice now and the second time felt just as quick as the first time. Its a kind of power that you just cant get used to as theres so much there.

The needle just climbs up the speedo. All the way to the end absolutely relentlessly. (private road of course). I cant imagine what this beast will be like once its run in and mapped properly.

2001S4ICS - they are straight K16's as far as im aware but they have been modified somehow. Dave should be along to explain.

Its by far the quickest Audi ive been in. And it sounds georgous too. Those boys at RS fabrications know how to make an exhaust.

To be honest the lag is not as bad as I thought it would be. As long as you keep down a gear, you can drive on boost pretty muuch most of the time. 2nd gear is amazing. Theres still a lot of torque in the bottom end of the rev range suprisingly. Enough to be absolutely driveable on the road. It doesnt fell nowhere need as bad as an impreza with the lag.

That will be some nice power Dave! How did you manage to drop the compression so low?

Dam, I am thinking my 1.9 bar RS6/KO4's are not any good anymore!!!

You can drop the compression by pistons and head gaskets wossner do 8.1 pistons for £750.00 and then you can get compression droping gasket on top to lower even more thats what i'm doing
