k16 I love them !

Post by dodgydave » Mon Aug 27, 2007 11:35 pm

Guys,

Just been running in my car and i have to say even though they come quite late with the full boost they deliver enough in the bottom to not make the car feel gutless!

But when they start to deliver you better get a spare set of underware ! ;-)

Absolutely love them !

dave

P.S. Peak boost so far without remap and software than isn't desined to handle these levels im hitting 38 psi ... more to come ;-)

How late do they spool up? What kind of power is it making?

at 4000 you have 14.5 psi and at 4500 they start biting with 26 psi. but at 5000 all hell is loose! 38 so far without any remap!

No no no ;-) It's the OEM N75 valve - which controls the wastegate - disconnect it and you can't make much in the way of boost.

Oh dear... "pop" - stop driving the car hard till it is properly mapped. Something is going to pop/melt before you even get to enjoy it.

That said - I am dying to know the end result :) - keep us posted.
