After wasting nearly 3yrs travelling around the UK mainland (I'm from Northern Ireland) looking at tatty and good (but mediocre) cars I found this RS2, which looks and drives exactly as it should.
Bodywork is virtually unmarked (just a few small bonnet stonechips). Interior is as if it belongs to a main dealer demo car - unblemished, with the alcantara in top order and the leather supple and unmarked. Original Dunlop SP Sport spare tyre and Cup Alloy wheel are unused
Mechanically sound with a full service history file and stamped service book from main dealers and specialists. Recent service included overhaul of brakes with new pads all round and preventative work to avoid the binding/stickyness normally found on these cars. Handbrake shoes and retaining springs replaced, auxilluary radiator replaced and f/o/s cv boot replaced.
If you're just after a good RS2 then you'll probably be wasting your time viewing or enquiring. If you want an absolutely outstanding car then this is definitely worth travelling to see and the journey would not be wasted.

Hi there,
I'm afraid I haven't owned the car very long - since early June this year. If you look on www.countryporschecollection.com you'll get a bit of my background. I'm not particularly looking forward to selling it as it has truly lived up to expectations as the totally useable classic icon that it is. However, I build houses (one-offs at the rate of 1 every 18mths or so) and I'm expecting planning permission to come through this autumn for my next one. So, I may need some cash (although I may get by without that) and I'm simply putting the car on the market early enough to create a bit of interest.
Are you an RS2 owner or collector? Are you seriously interested?
Thanks for your contact
