Thanks Clive, that's what I expected. I also think you are right. Whilst the stock RS4 had many improvements over the stock S4, based on the reactions of RS4 owners, they still were not good enough (i.e. brakes, suspension, shifter) and so probably a stage 1 would not be enough.

The other problem is the risk of theft, which must be higher for an RS4 than an S4.

Jeff, I also have been miffed that my insurance premium is higher than an for an RS4, but I think Clive raises a point: I think this is only true if the RS4 is stock. Once mods are declared I think most insurers would treat a modded RS4 the same risk as a modded S4.

And yes I might wish I had done it before but I won't kick myself because all my money is set aside for our house extension and that's that. Any car upgrade has to wait until I know I have the cash available.

Well progress is under way!!! Will try and get some pics uploaded tomorrow!! Looking at the turbos everything seems fine!! No bent blades or bits falling out!! Turbos and clutch fitted today!!! Looks awesome! just a shame you can't see em when there in the car!!!
