best oil for 52 reg s3????

The information that I have from Fuchs the factory fill German Company for VAG states that the 503.01 is not for AVS, only the 503.00.

I would find it hard to believe that this is incorrect, not saying it isn't though.

Was just reading this.

I normally use the long life oil in my A4 1.8T quattro. Its the Castrol SLX II stuff, the codes match the codes in the car manual. I do change it every 5-6k miles though. Its just I get that oil mega cheap off a mate.

everyone is saying to use the 503, i use castrol gtx magnatex which is 505, and in the manual it sais that you can use 505, and my local audi dealer said this is ok, what does anyone think
