Leather RS4 B5

Hello Guys,

A question for all the other rs4 b5 owners with black leather interior:
How is the color of it? This question sounds weird but mine has a sort of blue tint in it:



Is this normal, and if not: How is this possible?

same here but not as blue as yours... yet, perhaps its the lack of sun up here????

Mine seems to have more of a purple tint than blue, although the unusual thing is that the leather in my S3 doesn't - basically the same seats???!!!!

I only bought the RS4 (late 2000) last year so can't be sure if thats from new, but have had the S3 (early 2002) from less than a year old.

The only thing I can think of might be leather treatment, or Recaro possibly sourcing from elsewhere over the two year gap between cars.
