thought mrs derdle didn't like you playing at CC .

Hi Jarv,

Carole has warmed to the idea. She likes 4 wheel motorsport and likes the track, just feels a bit uneasy where I'm involved. She always fears the worst case scenario! But I think after a few track days she is beginning to warm to the idea, so much so that she is going to let her Mother come out with me at Goodwood in September (Ma is 84!).

I'll be there on 13th October. Castle Combe is my local track....was there in the sunshine today at the VW Audi trackday in my Scirocco. Combe is always a great day out

Should be a few locals there

My son was there today, he said a scirocco was flying round, also a fairly well sorted ur-quattro and a twit in a red sport who couldnt pass a golf............ wonder who that was

Good to see you Dave at Castle Combe today. Your car was looking spanking in Misano. Dentmasters were there and they worked their magic on my little dents in the door. Now the panel is perfect. Really chuffed. Hope to see you in October for ADI? Graham

Glad you got it sorted Graham. Good to meet you too. Great day today, weather was superb. We are not used to that "up North".........

I will be there in October also. Next up is Nurbergring in September

Ma will be in the front!
She is very comfortable with my driving ... but she hasn't seen me on the track before, so I may be about to blow all that confidence!

Top man. My vote has been cast. I may be being thick, but where did that quote in your post come from, don't recall seeing it? Are we going to have a thread where we all add our names to a list of we're attending, or is there one already and it's a bit stealthy .

There is no other thread, I was just implying that people should use the proposed format to track the uptake.... Needless to say it failed.
