Post by marmite » Fri Jul 27, 2007 11:16 pm

At last finaly got my wheels sorted and fitted.......4 weeks later after taking delivery, they have been professionaly repainted RS6+ colour, tyres swapped and balanced...1 wheel is buckled slightly :( always upsetting but that is life...will have to sort that out another time!

Still have one unbuckled (got to have a spare) if you still have any money left.

I've just had some wheels powder coated by Spit & Polish on an S3 I recently brought.

So now I've just sent off my RS6 wheels to get them done in the same colour as Spit & Polish did such a good job on the S3 wheels.

Cheers,
Rob

marmite ..... where did you get your wheels done ? Do they look like the OEM finish ? Reason I ask is that a number of wheel refurbishers I have asked all say they do not stock the Audi paint code for the wheels and will try to get a near match ....

Wheels were done at my local Approved VAG body shop
They got the exact paint code off the system

They are titan silver with a matt finish, they look alot better then some refurb people have tried to do that I have seen
