The Bosch Motorsport pump is the one to go for, although the Walbro 255 is only £90 but needs modifying to fit.

The std RS4 pump is good for 500bhp, and the Bosch Motorsport pumps at least twice the flow of the RS4 one, so I don't think you will be needing two of those puppies!

BTW, the B5 RS4 pump only flows 5litres per hour (roughly 5%) more than the S4 pump, so there is no real point in upgrading to an RS4 pump.

Thanks chaps, does the 044 pump fit straight in to the S4 pump holder,is it the same size as the original, and does the original flat round filter fit on the bottom?

cheers

See 034motorsports site for what it looks like. You need the basket and strainer from an audi v8:
895 201 531 A
895 201 779 H

034 sold me the hardware kit (Porsche top nut, bayonet fitting etc. for ~$30)

Haven't fitted it yet though.

Would advise against two fuel pumps - reason being if you have one pump and it fails the engine stops - if you have two and one fails at high speed, you still get fuel but not enough and the engine runs too lean with possible big problems...

Stick to one good one..

Ok I have the 044 pump and v8 cradle and filter. (and the pump is silver!)

Has anyone actually fitted one of these, can you tell me how the pump goes into the cradle as it has a small filter on the top edge that gets in the way.

I have emailed 034 for a price on the top banjo and bayonet fitting.

Any help would be great :)
