RS4 check/diagnostic feature question

I went to view an RS4 last night that I am seriously contemplating buying. The car is booked into Audi next week for them to give me the thumbs up prior to doing so but in the meantime can any answer the following questions:

When you use the check feature is it normal for the brakes, oil mph etc graphics to show up red prior to getting one green ok message?

Would a service message show up along with a graphic indicating the windscreen washer liquid needed topping up or would there be something else triggering the service message?

Yes to the first bit - not sure on the second but if you press the "spanner" button on the dash it will tell you when a service is due. I suspect it is due.
