Nothing alledgedly about it
Its sitting in place,he's just plumbing ancillaries and finishing off bits and pieces at this stage, was speaking to him this evening.

Is there anything left to do to it?

Will probably put the Movit kit on the rear at some stage(kit in development at the moment)also have an MTM Haldex controller to try out,so if that does the business I'll keep it.Will also have to do something with that crap hifi someday......

Thanks for the compliments

fecking hell, imagine the understeer with that amount of weight over the front axle suspension will take a bit of fettling me thinks. Also, will the S3 Haldex stuff cope with that amount of power??

I'd be interested to hear your views on the haldex controller when you've run around with this on. Also, are the adjustable tie bars worth it??

impressive spec.

it's not running S3 transmission,it's using the S4 setup.

If your car is lowered, the adjustable tiebars arent so much a luxury as a necessity, they allow you to dial out the excessive negative camber that you get from lowering the car, well worth doing.

I remember seeing a report about a year ago that they were going to drop an RS4 lump into an S3 and replace the Haldex with Torsen diff as well. Good to hear it's going well!

Is Simon's S3 with the massive list of mods the yellow one (not S3Bangs) that sometimes goes to the Chelmsford meet? If it is I can lay testimony to the torque figures. It is a beast!

I just had my S3 Revo'd and I am still shocked by the difference a chip can make. It really gives you the confidence to go up against cars you previously wouldn't have stood a chance against!

I have heard this said before but the performance really is knocked up a gear! 4th pulls like 3rd did, 5th & 6th pull almost like 4th did!
