Ok guys
this is the situation
Ive got a Passat V6 2.8 30v I know its a VW but under it all ts a Audi and I really fancied a sleeper.
Anyhow its supercharged as well with the PES kit.
As I like to do bit of dragging I kind of killed the clutch of early and as I use it for motorway use I would like the 6th gear so I decided to put the RS4 tranny system in as one guy did it in the states.
Anyhow got hold of everything and started to put everything in. Only one slightly problem
Prop shaft and rear drive shafts to short for the passat and after looking into it mine is a A6 under it all.
Now IVe been told I can get away using a A6 2.7T 6 speed rear diff with my RS4 box .
Is this correct?
If not what prop shaft and rear drive shafts can I use?
Or the last option can i get a normal rear diff and just chage the flanges onto the rs4 one?
kind regards
alex
p.s im gagging to get this back on the road lol
Rear diff's need urgent help :(
