I queried my contact at Audi UK about the currently perceived knowledge going around the web e.g the rumours that there would be an RS3, that it would be in avant form only and be 350bhp.

The verdict is "As the 5 door does not launch until November 04 it is unlikely that if there was an RS version it will be available until well after that, especially as they have not started to develop one yet and the power is a little on the excessive side."

My predictions are going to plan...... im hoping for a mid-2005 announcement and a late 2006 release. [img]images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img] my plan is to keep my S3 until then and by that time my loan will be fully paid off too..............wooooohoooooo [img]images/graemlins/biggrin3.gif[/img]

Can't see any reason for an RS3. S3 perhaps. Hope they stick to RS4's and RS6's

Ofcourse their is....... it really depends on what they build.... if its a 3dr hatch then it`ll be one very very exclusive car.... if its going to be a Avant then its debateable...... but considering that the small estate market is just taking off they is a good market eitherway...... providing there are no other RS Avants announced the sametime.......
