DRC Failure - Action Required

Post by PhilT » Mon Jul 09, 2007 9:29 am

It seems ridiculous, but we need to get some data together on the DRC failures for Audi UK to present to Audi GmbH.... My thinking is that if we do not get any joy going down the official route, we could maybe investigate another approach where this data would be useful.

Here's what I need in an email from you. I suggest you copy and paste the contents into an email, complete, and send to crew@rs246.com (Subject : "DRC Failure"):
VIN Number:
Current Reg:
Current Owner Name:
Current Owner Address:
Current Owner email:
Current Owner phone number:
Number of DRC failures with current owner:
- Audi Center(s) that completed the work:
Number of DRC failures with previous owner(s):
- Audi Center(s) that completed the work:

These details are provided for the purpose of resolution of the DRC issue via RS246.com and may not be used for any other purpose.
Please do this as soon as possible, and post that you have responded.

Thanks,

Personally I haven't had any issues as I've only had the car less than 3 weeks, but I suspect it's coming as there is a light knocking noise over broken surfaces so I definitely have a vested interest.

Who do I need to contact to find out the warranty history of my car to see if it has had any DRC work done in the past as I believe the knocking to indicate partial replacement after a failure?
