I cant make the 10th unfortunately, but am still interested... can I just ask is the map applied via the diagnostic port or are they removing the ECU from its security cradle? also is it correct there are two ecu's on the RS4 one for each of the bank's of cylinders?

Jason, i could probably get DMS to include you in the Group Buy even though you can't make the 10th July, but to make life easier, if you could give me a date that i can confirm with them beofre/when the rest of us are down their, it would carry more weight.

The Map is now applied via the Diag port. They used to have to remove the ECU (or at least they did on my M5 & 535d) but not anymore. I had heard their are 2 ECU's but i really don't know for sure. I know if their are 2 then both must get mapped as i'm sure i'd notice of the extra power & torque was only on 1 bank.

We do really still need another 2 so those sat on the fence, jump off & spend some ££'s on what you'll agree when you've got this is money well spent.

No need to be there 1st thing (address above), but as only 3-4cars are currently booked in, we'll be wrapped up at around 2pm, so you'd need to be their no later that 12ish.

As for the Milltek, i've decided against going down this route, as the stock sound of the RS4 is i think perfect & the gains from a Milltek or any aftermarket exhaust for the RS4 are very mimimal & really not worth the outlay. Can't comment on DMS's position on the Milltek, but i know they can supply & fit if you really want one.

Same response really as per Brownies3, that being the rest of the group should be completed by around lunchtime so i'd guess we'd be heading off about 13:00-14:00.

If you can't make it before that time, let me know what time you can make it & i'll book you in for that time on the 10th.

I told DMS on Friday that everyone attending wanted dyno runs.

[Jog]

Directions.
Take Junction 2 from M27 and head south following signs for Totton and Fawley.

Go straight over the next four roundabouts.

After the 4th roundabout, the road turns into a dual carriageway. Follow the road for approx 3/4 mile. The Hounsdown estate on your left.

It is also posible and probably quicker to come from Junction 3 of the M27 but the above is a simpler route

I wish I could justify the upgrade, but I cant , but I will try to pop in a some stage throughout the day.
