All you need is this number etc and log on to

http://www.direct.gov.uk/taxdisc

Which hasn't worked for days - i'll have to buy a stamp before long or speak to someone "helpful" on the phone.

Same problem!! Tried it 6 months ago and for a week it was a case of 'try again later' or something similar.

Will try again this week for the renewal -plan B will be the trip to the PO again, which 'as usual, will be on pension/giro day as it always seems to be...

I've done both my bike's and car online no problems what so ever, It normally take's a couple of day's for the disc to come thru depending on when you do it

i always do mine online..and now i can do all my taxi,s too..no more giro days..yipee...

yup, i do my car and bike without any problem. the wife is knarked to death because she gets free road tax on account of a disabillity and has to go to the post office for hers, pmsl

Did mine on Saturday without problem. However last year I did get the same problem as you had. Probably just a bandwidth limitation.
