New Memeber Tonight Need a few pointers

Post by FlyRS6 » Sun Jun 17, 2007 9:42 pm

Hi gang, Just bought a Red RS6 Avant and due a service in 1800 miles. can anyone recommend a GOOD main dealer in the North West.? I live in Warrington but wouldn't give it to Audi here as they are dire :!:

Ive heard Macclesfield are good but any members had good experiences they could share?

Also my car is an 04 and has just had an extended warrnaty for 12 months. When the car goes in do I need to ask them to scrutinise the DRC as prior to discovering this website I would never have know about it. How can I tell if they leak etc etc

I may also need some new rear discs/pads soon. If I bought GENUINE PARTS privately and had them fitted by a specialist (Prosport in Stockport) would this invalidate the warranty

is there anything else I should consider prior to service?

PS can anyone tell me the correct front and rear tyre pressures for standard 19's

thanks guys

Welcome, I'm just a few miles away from you and I've used both Chester Audi and SKF Bolton and had no problems.
