What's your AC temp?
I think we may be over complicating.
Here are the normal results with the test out lined. O such a serious business this comparison lark....
Fan On Full
Option 60
Press Recirculate to get the value
Will start around the ambient temp
Should fall quite quickly
7-8-9 are that results I got after 1 minute and consistently over a 25 minute drive.
If I turn the fan down to 2 or 3 level setting I get 5-6-7.
(If you are getting 60 I would pour a bucket of water over it) LOL
So is there any one else out there getting significantly higher or lower, in a 22-25.c ambient environment.
I assume this is good performance
Hope this has helped.
If you are getting high readings it could be your temp sensor in the system
If you have a different car this test may not work!!!!
Any other people care to partake.

Tried mine last night when ambient was about 16 deg. With the temp set to LO (so fan came on full), the option 60 readout started at 20-something and then camed down. But it took a few minutes to get to 9, when I stopped the test.
This morning when I drover to work I put the temp setting back to LO. Cold air was blowing but it did not feel really cold like it used to. My air con has not been serviced ever and the car is coming up to 6 years old. I think I'll take a trip to Kwik-Fit when I get the chance!

Just had mine done at Kwik-Fit. Seems like my 6-year old AC system wasn't too bad, they measured 8.6 deg before and 7.4 deg after.
I'm still not sure if this test is right for a 'face-lift' car. Ambient was about 20 deg and the lowest I could get the option 60 reading to was 8 deg (and I was freezing).
