Audi Quattro engine management light

Post by quatt » Thu Jun 14, 2007 9:44 pm

Hi guys

i own a audi 3.0 quattro avant,i purchased it just two weeks ago from a garage, it has covered 59000 miles but just today whilst i was driving the engine management light came on and the temp indicator went to cold. i switched the engine on and off the temp went to normal but the engine management light stayed on....does anybody know what this could be???

cheers :D

a check engine warning light should log a fault code. sounds like you could do with someone with Vag-Com running a diagnostic scan on your car, where abouts are you?
