Northern Pub Meet - 16th July - same time & place

The White House pub on the A58 between Littleborough and Ripponden - high up on the top of the Pennines. It's a great road up to the pub from either direction if you've got a fast car [img]images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]

We'll be there from around 7pm, and everybody is welcome.

It's dead convenient for anyone living in or around Mid Lancs/North Cheshire/Yorkshire/Humberside, as it is about 10 minutes (well, maybe 15 [img]images/graemlins/wink.gif[/img]) from the M62.

If you need directions, please ask. If you have Sat Nav, the address of the pub is in one of my earlier posts entitled "Northern Pub Meet" (or somesuch) - just search for "White House".

Anyway, my car has almost as much torque as yours doesn't it Paul, so it does pull pretty quick up dem hills - just runs out of puff at 4500rpm instead of 6500 [img]images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]

273lbft or 370Nm in new money - all the way from 1900 to 3800 rpm.

I was actually thinking of coming to the Northern meet this month (even though it's 191 miles by my Sat Nav [img]images/graemlins/crazy.gif[/img]) but I'm in France that week.
