RS246.com sticker ...!

Post by S4TAN » Sun Jun 10, 2007 12:43 pm

My RS246.com sticker has peeled off my rear windscreen ... !

I spent a whole £2 on this sticker - not an inconsiderable sum of money as I'm sure you'll agree! Since this unfortunate incident my car has suffered from an overall performance loss - even taking such remedial action as folding the rear seats flat has not succeeded in restoring the cars previous performance levels.

What type of shoddy goods are you foisting upon us RS246.com!!??

Grrrr ...!

Yours sincerely,

Angry of Banbury.

Look on the bright side, Jules - removal of the sticker, and the related weight loss, coupled with the folding seats, should in fact improve performance...

I had noticed that your normal "fly by" these past few days was completed with less haste and of course wondered what caused this lack of thrust through the B@@icote countryside.

I have a spare that I will leave with Doug for you, I would hate to have to see your car "naked"!!

:D

PSML! :jump: Absolutely, David

I'm sure your car will soon be back in tip-top condition, Jules
Just don't start fiddling with the angle of sticker application, or any of that nonsense...

Thanks simple1 - however, it looks like VARSITY has very kindly offered me a spare (Thanks Damian! )

 Honest Guv - I didn't fiddle with any part of the sticker! (although had there been a screw or any other kind of adjustable part built into the sticker then you can be sure i would have attempted tweaking it!)

Don't put ideas in my head Clive! 8)

Dont rub the thing too much either... the change in size can prevent it sticking... although it does become sticky....

Oh erm wrong site  ... sorry!

Could it be the heat from re-entry?...try a different angle... it does make tiles fall off apparently

stick it on the roof, that way the extra weight will be minimised as per the rear seat mod, of course that means it'll only be visible from a helicopter but to be fair that's the way i perceive people will view me as i drive my S4

Feck me, that made me laugh.

Why don't you stick it on the middle underside of the car, it should help in cornering. As a bonus it won't be so easy to identify you on the speed camera photos (eh Clive?). ;-)
