Can we have a 'how to do..' section?

Post by Golich » Wed Jul 02, 2003 6:58 pm

By that I mean somewhere where we can post technical 'how do do' articles like those on Audi World?

I have just completed converting the suspension on my S4 (B5) to RS4. Which included replacing the outer CV boots, disks, pads, bleeding the brakes, replacing a lower ball joint. Removing the hub housing. I'm planning on removing the front bumper headlight etc. Rear disks checking and testing the DV’s. etc. etc.

I took over 50 pics and have loads of tips on the so- called special tools called up in the Audi Erwin manuals + major things to look out for, not included.

I know Audi World has similar articles but I noted several differences in the models and articles not applicable currently posted on their site.

No problem. You can upload the following files when attached to a post: .gif,.jpg,.txt,.zip,.png

Otherwise please email them to me and I will add it as content in the downloads section.

Hi Phil,

I have taken traditional photos which will have to be scanned in. I'm not much of an IT buff and thought I would generate these articles by writing the tech part in word and pasting the repective photos as I go along.

Any suggestions welcome.

Word is cool. Scanning photos can generate large files, so recommend you save the scan as a JPG file. Once you have all the words + pics, use WinZip to compress them ready to send to me.
