Seconded, also this means you can use the badge as an ornament... (maybe that's just me...)

Thanks for the info...I'll probably take the badges off myself rather than getting the dealer to mess it up!

Still wondering whether to put anything in the empty space...I could go with the S-Line badges or maybe something nondescript like a small 'Quattro' badge. Anyway, I've got about 5 weeks to think about it (before the car arrives)...

Of course, wheels, brakes, exhaust etc are all items that identify the reality of the car, but debadging will disguise the car to the illiterate thick scum of society that wouldnt ordinarially have a clue unless it has a bloody great sign on it saying its an S4, RS4, RS6.... they are unlikely to have the intelligence to steal the thing, but could just about muster the power of thought to cause malicious damage.

Love it when I see a car like this badged as a TDi, very amusing.

Why did you buy yours? Surely not JUST for the badges or to let other people know what car you have and how much it cost. I suspect people like myself who choose to de-badge their cars bought them for fundamentally the same reasons as you. It's just that some of us choose not to have badges the same as some choose not to have misano red or sprint blue or recaro seats over the buckets - purely a matter of taste and opinion.

the reg plate on my girlfriends car is a clue to what it is!!

BE PROUD OF THE BADGE :redrs4: :kissmyrings: :biggrin3:

I havent missed your point at all... we are DELIGHTED to have ours as you are yours so why not let the other motorists see what it is?

The scum of society prolly dont know the front from the back of a decent car its down to sheer bad luck if your targeted then thats another reason for having insurance!!!!
