Advice on clutch problem

I need some advice please! I am using up clutch fluid at quite a rate, but there are no signs anywhere of leaks. The clutch pedal overnight tends to drop to the floor. The car has only done just over 7,000 miles and has stood for a long time without being used. It was put back on the road 5 months ago and the clutch showed no sign of any probs until last week. A mechanic has had a quick look and can no source of any leaks. Any advice greatly appreciated! Jonnie.
