york (shire) mini meet
york (shire) mini meet
just found out there is a fellow member in york so there might be a few others who want to come and say hello/talk audi etc. Its been suggested the b and q car park on hull rd in york @7.30 on the 21st march. Depending what suits any other takers this may change and i appreciate the north west meet is the same week but if anyone is up for it then the more the merrier

This may seem like a dumb idea, but how about meeting in a pub carpark, and then when everyone has finished admiring each others' cars, the get-together can move into the pub, where food and drinks can be consumed, and vast quantities of car bollox discussed...

Just a thought - otherwise you might get mistaken for some of the younger folk who hang around in such carparks revving their engines and generally being a nuisance...
Ian - this isn't an ageist or chavist remark

Exactly the kind of thing that the meet I propose is aboutCliveH wrote:This may seem like a dumb idea, but how about meeting in a pub carpark, and then when everyone has finished admiring each others' cars, the get-together can move into the pub, where food and drinks can be consumed, and vast quantities of car bollox discussed...![]()
