hi all
i bought a s4 a month ago. been reading forum. can any one help me. i am after the vagcom program. is it the one u can download off the internet. if so, as there are about 4 that i've noticed, which one do i need? what other items/attachments would i need to connect to laptop,etc. many thanks, john

You need to buy a genuine Ross-Tech OBD plug and lead, download the software, follow install instructions and away you go.

If you go to the Ross-Tech site you will be able to find the UK Agents for the plug or I guess you can buy direct from the US.

I bought mine from Gendan in Wales.

i would guess the cable direct from Ross-Tech would be quite a good buy at the moment with the pound being pretty strong, shipping from the states can be quicker than shipping from within the uk as i'm sure many others on here will agree.

Vag-Com is a brilliant bit of software, the least anyone who wants it can do is buy the Ross-Tech cable and let them have the well earned cash they deserve. That's my shillings worth.

Ditto. Bought from Ross-Tech and never regretted it. Fantastic piece of software, and great for shoving under stealers noses when they are being evasive or bullsh*tting. IMHO of course.
