S2 Lowered - What do you think?

Post by Doug_RS2 » Tue Jun 24, 2003 10:25 pm

See attached.

H&R Springs, Koni adjustables, RS2 front ARB. Awesome grip on corners - especially with Toyos - Rear ARB still to be sorted.

I love it - not too hard either.

And it has RS2 mirrors - for aerodynamics - of course!

Forgot:

It's on 18s with Toyo 225/40X18 tyres. Wheels are 8" wide and offset of ET35. It's probably lowered it 40mm. They don't rub - but will 235/35X19 rub - that is the next question!!

Doug,

Your car is looking really sweet! Have you had chance to give it some beans on tight roundabouts/corners yet? I'm thinking of adding the RS2 ARB to my front end, but I really don't want to increase understeer any more than it is already.

Steve.

p.s. are you planning on attending Combe in July?

Not had the car on the limit yet - but it does go round the corners noticeably faster and stays a lot flatter - I'll push it when the camber/etc gets set.

It looks like I will be coming to CC as another run has just changed dates - where's info on getting on track/prices etc?
